Charging Problems

Can anyone provide a wiring diagram for a 1983 F21A with Electrodelta model#VR417-2 regulator and Prestolite alt. The regulator has black, (ground) red, white, and yellow wires and has not worked since I bought the plane, not sure if it is just wired wrong or bad.

Have it checked by a good auto mechanic. Ground the field (for a moment)and see if you get full voltage charge.....if not take the alt into maybe Auto Zone??
