      Re: Blackout

I think it's been down more like four or five days. I'm also missing 3 weeks worth of info. I was starting to get depressed.

        Re: Blackout

We got haCKED BY SOME jackass bankfraud crooks.

Our systems guy's wife had a baby, work, sun n fun. Took too many days to find time after work to fix it.

        Shit happens.

        But we are back.

              Re: Blackout

To Bob & all the other great folks that make this site happen:

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. I'm not sure what happened but I was starting to panic! My wife even said if the site wasn't up soon, that I was going to be occupying the hangar rather than the house!

Seriously, I want to extend a personal thanks to those who got the site back up and also for keeping the site ongoing.

              Greatly releived in Edmond, OK.
              Best Regards

                      Re: Blackout/ Sun - N Fun ?

Jeez That was rough. What really happened Bob? Glad were are back anyway. I was really getting edgy !!
Sounds like Sun-N- Fun is loosing its fun and quickly becoming Sun down n dun. Attendenance is down by a HUGE margin, Fewer Classics, Almost zero Antique Aeroplanes and the usual homebuilts comprised of RVs (bout as boring now to look at as the one with ones with wheels) and Glass Soap shape whatevers with little else . Again just what friends are reporting back. The EAA pulled out and I believe the backbone membership of the EAA is tired of $5 Lemonade ( yes really ) or how bout $11 for a sprite ,burger and fries? All of the old Sun-N -Fun board was tossed out over the last several years and the "professional" folks left are there for one thing only as it appears. BUT the word is that the up comming Fly Inn In LUMBERTON N.C mid May(with the help of many of the Old SUN N FUN Board )is going to be the next big regional deal. I am looking forward to attending and seeing less commercialization, More diverse hombuilts, and of course a nice showing of our beloved Classics and Antiques I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I want to say thanks also Bob. Know this takes much of your time. Without this we would all be just an old airplane owner, sitting in our hangar and flying here and there with no real purpose. As it is with the TalyorCraft forum, we have a family, a brotherhood, where we share a common interest and enjoyment. It is always better when we share.

I too was a bit worried... I look forward to reading the daily posts. Thanks to Bob and the rest of the tribe for getting her back up and running, regardless of what was lost. Great flying week in NY! Finally some weather that we can brag about.

Thanks again for the hard work and tireless efforts. Congrats to the folks with the new baby and screw the bank fraud guys.
