Greetings to all, from someone who is now a FOUR TIME repeat offender. I just purchased my fourth Taylorcraft, a 1940 BL-65 (Continental) and brought it back to Los Angeles from the Washington coast. N29544 is not quite an Oshkosh champion, but it is well above average. I bought it from a fellow in Raymond, WA, west of Seattle on the coast. The flight took two days to get it from Willapa Harbor airport (2S9) to the Harris Ranch strip at Coalinga, California and then three more days to get it back through the last couple hundred miles to Los Angeles. As with my previous ferry flight adventures in Taylorcrafts, I wrote a story about the trip and took photos. I am honored that two of my other T-craft stories have been honored by being featured on the taylorcraft.org website. Perhaps this one, titled "High Adventure at Low Altitude" will be interesting enough for the club to feature on the website as well. I am pleased to re-join the Taylorcraft community, and renew old acquaintances like Bruce and Forrest. My primary mission is to be able to keep this aircraft for a long time, since I have an unfortunate history of having to sell airplanes far too soon after I bought them due to legal troubles, financial woes, etc. etc. To that end I have actually accepted so-called "gainful employment" recently... we'll see how THAT works out! Bill -
I've read your stories some time ago and they are great. I just went looking for them again and the link is broken.
I found the links here:
But the first link
is kaput.
Maybe you could repost them here in the forum or offer them through Capt Jon's web site, www.taylorcraft.info.

Re: Newest (Old) Taylorcraft owner
I will try to dig out those old stories and maybe send them to Captain John if he wants to put them on his site. I can also re-send them to the club website if they want to have it on their own server. The "bluwater.com" thing was someone from an internet newsgroup that hosted it on his site for some period of time, but maybe that has evaporated.
