  • Stuck/Stubborn Propellor

Not that it shouldn't be expected but went to remove the propellor from my project last night and it won't budge. BL 65 wood Sensenich propellor that hasn't been removed since it was installed, if I am reading the log books correctly since 1957. Suggestions ?

Never mind, steady light flat tapping with rubber mallet all around the hub released it. Now for inspection and correction. no deformities seen, some areas where varnish is gone and wood discolored. Depression in wood at hub cover plate side of 1/32 or less. will use feeler gauge later to determine exact depth. Fingernail just catches.
