  • Frustrating

I don't want to get anything started here, but it is frustrating to be told something, have your credit card charged, wait for a month and a half, call to trace, then be told something completely different and that you wouldn't be getting what you were charged for.

This isn't going to kill me, and I have been told the credit will be put through . . . but it shouldn't happen in the first place!

    That's it for me.

    Re: Frustrating

Hmm Credit cards and elecrtonic transfer of money etc.
I orderd a handheld radio JRC 520 from large avionocs shop in Florida.
There webpage came back and asked me for:
1: a picture Id. driverslicense or pass port
2: a faxed copy of the credit card.
That is nothing more when identedy theft!
at least the way I see it.
The order did go to another supplyer known for it good wood.
    Or is it this way?
I know the USA is under ""attack" from terrorist and handheld may help them.
but I am living in Canada and close to the border on top of what and is just as conserned about any securety issues any other resident in north america.
    but I don't Panic!

          Re: Frustrating

I'm wondering if this should be a private message thing. My credit card was charged big time last March. We thought we should go with the facotry made instead of trying to piece things together locally. We've had nothing but lies and excuses until December when we asked for our money back so we could pursue another avenue for getting spars. Now we can't even get our money back. Every week he says the check's in the mail. Frustrated?

Well it looks like the cat is out of the bag again tonight so rather than a private message here I go because people should be warned:

I regret to say that I had to report the Taylorcraft factory to VISA this week for charging my card on parts not shipped and not refunding the money after they admitted that they wouldn't be shipping the parts. I was very patient and phoned to remind them about my refund on at least three occasions and each time I was lied to and told that the refund would be put right through. The last time I called, I advised them that they had one week and if I didn't see my refund, I would report it to VISA.

I am sure that soon they won't accept VISA because they will have lost that priviledge, and that is probably a good thing before more of us get burned. I think we can all see what is coming here!

sorry that I have missed this thread till today. I got real busy with family stuff and illness & missed that start up of the thread.
WE do encourage this type of information, WE here at the Foundation want facts, times , dates, etc... I will be busy till after March 11th , IA renewal, CFI stuff and the big Auctioneering School. Then I hope to check on the NEW Taylorcrafts, one was to be flown and going to California in early Feb... hope it made it.

My new radio! No frustration !
The radio ,a JRC 520, was purched from Aircraft Spruce instead, with no problem with payment, price and delivery.
It was priced lower when listed and no hasel with ID's etc.
Was the ID thing it a attemted fraude by some one inside or out side company?
We have watch how we deal with and how, now more then ever.
Succesfull enterprices are built with trust and what takes enough money to keep them going untill it is establiched. A difficult task. Promisses to do, Don't work.

Hey we ALL need to check on the new Tcraft that has been flown to California by now I guess Forrest. Hope the new owner did not pay with his Visa ! Then again once upon a time there was a magician named Harry ... Perhaps this new magician named Harry pulled a rabbit out of a hat ..or built the ultimate NEW stealth Taylorcraft... Thats it!!We just cant see it. Course then again the old Harry the magician did do himself in in the end as I recall.....
Pass the bottle please. Here we go again.

                      Grant and 3696T,

I had hoped that after 15 months Harry had changed the way he did business. Apparently not.

Harry, Please give us an update directly from you. It would help to hear what is happening and believe me I do not think its too late for you to gain credibility from this group IF they get the true scoop. Hell everyone wants you to be successful (most everyone anyway) . SOO I believe you can now understate and overdeliver someday and still be a hero. What about it now? Ready to dance?
