    Parts catalog lists tail wheel bearings on an L2b as Firestone 2-14, does anyone know what a replacement/ compatible bearing number would be?

      I have to measure it, but it's the stock Firestone W-73-c-208a sleeve.

        No clue what that means.

        You said it was a Firestone bearing 2-14. Should I have understood that it was also a Firestone tailwheel?

        If so then I can't help. Was thinking it was a Heath and I think I have some new old stock bearings for Heaths & Scotts.

          It is a Heath but in the parts manual the bearings are listed as Firestone 2-14, and lists the hub where the bearings go in as a "sleeve".

            ok, I may have part or part number, 3/8" or 7/16" axle diameter?

            you can tell by bolt head size

            9/16" head = 3/8" bolt
            5/8" head = 7/16" bolt

              I show a Killian F-350-14 for the 7/16" axle but its a 17 year correction in my parts book

              ahh they do not make it anymore

              => http://www.kilianbearings.com/Produc...-ball-bearings

              they do the -11 and -12, 3/8" and 1/2" respectively, make a 7/16" if you need it by inserting a sleeve made from .027" wall tubing
