We are the proud, new owners of a 1946 Taylorcraft BC 12 D that we picked up from the Port Townsend, Aero Museum in Washington state and flew back to our home in North Carolina. It was a wonderful flight in some of the worst weather imaginable. My bride of 50 years (Karen...who is also a pilot) and I spent a lot of days on the ground waiting on a good patch of sky to fly in. Before we headed east we put the wings over the Pacific and in the coming days we will fly to Kitty Hawk and put them over the Atlantic. Nice to know this resource is available!!

Thank you for posting , your trip sounded like an awesome adventure, it is great to hear from folks like you, there are many who will be interested in what you say. Keeps the Taylorcraft a great little airplane . I mostly just read posts but have a BC12D and love it , welcome
