  • N599SB First flight .

Hi everyone , does anyone know where to reference the date of the first flight of my Taylorcraft BC12D , G-BTFK Ex N599SB . I assume it's not long after she was born , in October 1947 , the earliest Log Book I have is from 1949 .
    Thanks in anticipation .
    Mick .

Found mine on the FAA supplied CD that has all the records that they have on file. Five or 10 bucks from the FAA.

Interesting, I have never seen a first flight recorded on a FAA CD. At least not on the three I have owned. Forrest Barber could possibly tell you, (he has the old logbooks of the test pilots), but he has pretty much backed out of doing much regarding the Taylorcraft Foundation or its owners. I was physically in Alliance, Ohio a few years ago and asked him for two days to find that very information and he never did. To this day I have never found out.
            Cheers,
            Marty

Never mind Marty , to celebrate her 1st Flight on the day , might not be possible anyway , given the UK Weather ??.
