    Norm,

I just noted on Facebook, where Forrest is now living, there is no fly-in. Just some locals getting together this weekend.
    Cheers,

      Re: Barber field

Forrest's Facebook post regarding the fly-in, or more like the lack thereof:

Many questions the past few weeks. No we are not having a "Taylorcraft Flyin " THIS year.
I tried to have a "Gathering ". That did not work. Too Many Variables
However. Our faithful gang. Tim & Ryan Newell and all family and friends along with the Whitakers.
Plus quite a few others have agreed that we need to meet this Sat at 2D1. Barber Airport. .
Our helpers will be here too. Pavliga. Family. Come on out if you want to see a fun place. I will explain the new offers for the property.
Last minute notice. Your comments. ??.
      Cheers,
      Marty

        Re: Barber field

        Thanks Marty
You and Ryan have saved me a lot of road time. I wish things were different . But as usual I waited too long . I did get to Cessna from California to Arkansas though i should have done it last month .
If i have not been so tired i would have shown up just to say Hi to the locals . Road trip so to say
