I know there have been a few threads about magnetos maybe this one will be useful to someone.
I was talking with Fresno Airparts yesterday while placing an order and learned that they are still selling overhauled Bendix "lunch box" magnetos (I think that SF4 is the real designation). These are the mags on many A65/A75 and more.
$375 each. At one time they were selling them for $775 for two plus you got new wires and 8 plugs. They no longer sell them by the pair with wires and plugs but rather they sell them for $375 each.
At one point I saw a post that said they were no longer selling them at all however that must have been a misunderstanding because they merely stopped selling them with plugs & wires.
Anyhow I thought that this may be useful to someone. I still have those mags on mine and they work just fine.
