Anyone. I am not sure on this one. Will BC12D engine mount bolt right up to a 1940 "B" series airframe?

      Re: Engine Mount

Thank You Forrest. Always a pleasure to speak with you. I really appreciate your time and thank you for your tireless efforts. WE will show all what a reallly light early "B" series tcraft with just a lil ole A-65-8 will do. My heart just floats on back to Butler PA near my boy hood flying field farm of Mars PA thinking about it. I always get enthused about a particular taylorcraft model for its strengths. This one is no exception and is really gonna be a fun to show what the orginals were capable of !!! I am not gonna make predictions about performance only to say that the factory results in 1940 with a (doped up fabric) ship came in very light (read performed). My goal is to make this the "MOST BASIC "NEW" T CRAFT IN THE AIR" (now THATS BASIC stuff)It will be interesting to see what the new covering processes bring to the table with the lightest color of good Taylorcraft paint scheme chosen (notice I did not say SCREAM like my good ol Green and yellow NC 94984!!!!! )Everyone willl be kept posted of restoration progress to include supplied new factory parts and of course the "final outcome". Taylorcrafts forever!!!! "Sunny (in SC) Jim"
