  • Wanted Alive: Stewart Warner Temp. Gauge

Does anyone have an extra oil temp. gauge from the 3 in 1 Stewart Warner instrument cluster with the 6 inch tach? The capillary tube is shot on mine:.-( Will be happy to pay a fair price.

    Hi Howard,

Try calling Keystone Instruments in Loch Haven, PA. They restored my cluster for me. Also, there is an outfit in Willoughby, Ohio. I think the name is Wolfe Bros.. If that fails get a copy of "Hemmings Motor News". There are a few places that can repair or replace these tubes. Remember, it's automotive stuff you're dealing with. I've heard of one fellow that went to an auto parts store and sort of "engineered" a gauge back into the cluster.

    Good Luck,

Hi Glen, Thanks for the contacts. The instrument is up at Keystone now and they can put one in; but the price for the temp gauge is almost what I paid for the whole 3in1 cluster!!!! Keystone did a good job for me on the bubble face compass and are very responsive to my questions. I'm hoping one of the tribespeople on the list may have an extra at not so dear a price:-( In the mean time I'll check out Wolfe and Hemmings. Will we see you in Alliance this year??
