Hey guys, I recently bought a pair of Federal 1500's along with the tapered shaft adapters...I have the Federal directions but they are a little hard to read. Does anyone have any close up pictures of their skiis and how to fit the bushings in the pedestal? I have the bushing with the flange in there just fine, but then I am getting hung up on the tapered shaft adapter. Thanks in advance.

    Re: Skiis

Suzy, here's an attempt at a depiction of a tapered axle ski bushing: a "poorboy" CAD drawing! Also several pix of the adapters that I had for my tapered axle. The tapered axle was cut-off from a standard gear. Dick

      Re: Skiis

      Thanks Dick!

I also had a chance to check out a pair of aeroski adapters and see how they match up with my federals. I can see now that the tapered shaft adapter that I have are not the correct ones for my current setup.

Thanks for your help and the drawings!

Suzy, here's how I'm set-up using a straight axle. Dick

          Re: Bad "CAD"

Suzy, I looked at the figures on the "poorboy CAD" Ski bushing drawing and saw that I sent you the wrong one...you got an early, practice version. The one that is in place now has the correct measurements, give or take a few jillioniths. Sorry about that. Dick
