  • Call from the factory (Harry)

Last evening I received a call from Harry staing very nicely that he would in fact be happy to refund my deposit. He also stated that he understood my reasoning.

I am certainly still interested in a new T-Craft, whenever they do come out. Until then I will continue flying the "Yellow Duck". Altho, I may either install a O-200 or look into another T-Craft.

If anyone is completing a total restortation with a larger engine and electric start. I may be interested in talking with you. Until then, it is me and the Yellow Duck. Which is still not bad.lol

I think most people on the net have Harry wrong. The man has a lot on his plate right now and is trying to please a lot of people. That in it self is very hard to do.

Uh Victor your statement "Ithink people on the net have Harry all wrong....." Well while we dont want to bash ANYONE trying to start ANY AIRCRAFT business let alone one that we ALL hope will support our beloved Taylorcraft I dont think its wise to attempt to bury ones head in the sand either. I for one need some parts and untill WE start to hear about success I wil not fork over a dime unless the parts can be shipped C.O.D . Lets also be thankfull to folks like Yellow who actually had the Balls to a) Send some hard earned cash to order a complete plane to be built b) kept all of us informed as to what was going on C) VERY nicely told us Harry and he reached a amicable business agreement which sounds like everyone (Harry included) is trying to do the right thing . Thank you Yellow Duck. As for Harry I think Forrest said it best when he wrote recently somthing like "it would really help you Harry if you could keep us informed " to add to that WE do understand you are busy Harry but no one and nothing should be more important than a satisfied customer or for that matter a bunch of prospects ready to dance or at least spreading the word about you being at the dance.

Can we please Bob leave this post on the front page? I for one am interested in hearing form any people that have had successful dealings with the factory and what parts they ordered and recieved and how long they took. I really need some parts and am sure I am not alone.

I ordered 2 airlon brackets, the ones that go on the rear spars that the airlons hook on too. I got them abt. 8 to 10 days after I ordered them.

                Hello Lee,
                I have a newly restored 46 bc12D converted to a model 19.
It was finished earlier this year. I am considering selling it because I have a
super cub and its hard to fly both.
You can E-mail me direct at [email protected]
Its located at Diamond Head Ms
