  • Tapered axle adapters

If anyone needs axle adapters, made by F Atlee Dodge to fit 1 1/4" tapered axle. The adapters have not been used and adapt to 1 1/2" straight. The axles come with bushings. The cost from Dodge was $165.00 for the pair. Make an offer, I'm not going to use them.
    Thanks,

I just recently purchased a set of these and was wondering what's the best way to keep the bushings in place, and also where did you get the torque plate for the brake caliper?

The bushings ride on the wheel bearings.Look at the center picture and you will see that the axle nut when tightened takes up the slack on the bushings. Don't tighten to much or bearings will bind or to loose and wheel could wobble..
The torque plate is a Cleveland brake assembly from a Cessna 172. I did a 337 approval for the installation. I now have a hydraulic brake system with Scott heal brakes and 8.50-6 tires.
