  • Second Check ride in the Tcraft!

Had my second checkride in the Tcraft this past Saturday, First was my Recreational Certificate in 2000 with Col. Bill Sloan, and then the most recent one with Martha Lunken for my Commercial! (Did the RG part in a 172RG)

I must say that Martha the best to fly with. It was like hanging around talking to a friend then going flying with a friend, that just so happened to ask to see certain maneuvers. I plan on calling her for CFI initial. As long as the local FSDO still lets us use not FAA personnel. Two of my friends have recently gotten the OK to use DPEs.

I believe there is a 50/50 rule. Feds do 50% and DPEs do 50%. It's a matter of where the no. Is when you are ready.

Martha's a hoot. I have been conversing with her via e-mail now and then. I have a Lunken Airport license plate topper she would like.

      Congrats by the way!
      Cheers,
      Marty

Thanks! She is just super! She even did an incipient spin in the Tcraft, I told her she could wind it up if she wanted
