I have always enjoyed the Taylorcraft newsletter and was pleased to receive the most recent rendition this past weekend. I had also thought its immediate predecessor was a good effort, with its combined information on the Cub, Luscombe, and Taylorcraft. What with all three types represented in my neck of the woods, that issue was put in a notebook kept on the reference library table at 7I2, thinking it'd be fun to learn more about each other's birds - interesting that that format apparently wasn't more widely approved, let alone discontinued altogether. What a bizarre trip the newsletter has made over the past year - glad it's back!

          I called the number above.
Talked to a lady named Jamie.
          $35 / year.
          Quarterly Newsletter
I gave a CreditCard number over the phone and signed up. She said that she would send me all of the 2014 newsletters (2) and I'd get any future 2014 newsletters (she wasn't sure if there would be one) but that my membership would end this coming Dec 31.
She also said that she'd send me some additional stuff by mail. I'm looking forward to see what comes.

Yikes, I hope it is big, thick and glossy for that price. (I know it won't and that is why I don't subscribe).
            Cheers,

I subscribed to it for three years. It was excellent with a lot of good info on repairs to the t craft and the engine including the carb. Which many profess profound knowledge but actually do not. I found it well worth the money.

                Re: Newsletter

Well, Joe, who professed to have the knowledge that was included in the newsletters?

$35 is a bit too steep for a quarterly newsletter-type format. I have survived by asking locals who possessed the knowledge as well as researching the information here from known knowledgeable members.

It is all a matter of opinion and that is mine.
                Cheers,
                Marty
