  • F-19 shoulder harness

Can someone explain what a catinary system is that allows for the use of double harnesses for both occupants? Forrest has talked about this before. I was wondering if it hooked to the far rear of the baggage compartment and then came through the slotted holes in the headliner like the F21 shoulder harness. MAC

I can't speak for Forrest and have no knowledge of what he said.

However when you mention centenary that makes me think of hanging cables.

Look at the last post of http://vb.taylorcraft.org/showthread...arnesses/page2 there are pictures of the F19 system that you mentioned for reference. Imagine that you put 2 cables on each side instead of one. Then you make them different lengths such that the one from one side meets the one from the other side right behind the pilot's head and you bolt them together there and attach the double harness there. Well ok maybe you need to have 2 bolts instead of one with a short bar or bar/cable between the 2 bolts in order to compensate for neck width but it's doable by the means that I described.

That's my best guess and well worth twice what you paid for it.
