I am in the process of doing a major overhaul on an A65-8 Continental Engine for my BC12-D. I found a good Oil sump assembly but it has the shorter tube. This Oil Sump Assembly I am referring to was previously used on an Aeronca Champ. Do I need the sump assembly with the longer tube or can the sump assembly with the shorter tube work on the Taylorcraft Model BC12-D.
