Anyone in the Northwest looking? Noticed a BL-65 on Portland CL...located Hillsboro, Oregon. A65-8, metal prop, lifetime struts, fresh annual. Basic from the looks of the pics, they're asking $16,500.

Had a meeting in the Portland area last week and stopped for a look-see. Not a show plane, but if anyone is looking for a pre-war, and a LIGHT one at that, she's worth a gander. Has an A-65 and metal prop. Big banjo wheels and big tach, still has flippers for trim. Fit and finish is much better than average...a whole lot nicer than mine anyway ;-) .

Fella's name is Dana...the T has been in his family off and on for a long time. He's a great guy to chat with and knows his stuff...he's also an A&P/IA and has a mighty nice 1929 Travel Aire with a 9 cylinder lyc he barnstorms out on the Oregon coast during the summer.

Wish I had room for her...decent asking price for a nice, honest machine. Sorry...phone was dead and no camera along so no pictures. I'm sure Dana has some to send along though. Sure hope the "right" someone comes along to take care of her.
