Alaska Tribe-Vogel Lake this weekend

Kind of short notice this year, but anyone in South Central Alaska looking for an excuse to fly this weekend come on out to Vogel Lake in the Kenai Wildlife Refuge. I will be at the Fish and Wildlife Cabin Saturday and Sunday along with some friends. I wouldn't really call it a fly-in this year because as far as I know mine will be the only plane there, but all it takes is two planes and it's a fly-in! The coffee pot will be on and there is plenty of food in the cooler if you want to have lunch. There is one bunk left if someone wants to camp out Saturday night. Hope to have some surprise drop-ins...always fun!

PS: Get well soon Bob Picard...we will miss you this year!

Jim. The weather looks like it's going to be good, If I can Breaker away I may try to make it . I am getting ready to go to Florida, which I leave on the 17 th so I have a couple of planes to get out the door before then. Are you going down this year ?
