I spoke with the fellow who is selling this airplane at Dunkirk N.Y. Airport. ( it's listed in trade a plane.) it was traded in on another airplane. The engine was recently rebuilt by the FBOs shop so good records exist. They also exist for the airplane since it's complete rebuild. ( which is the important part.) metal prop and nice pants. The Nalbones have run this airport for many years. If it's as nice as it looks, it's a buy. Nice ones are hard to find.

I see he's already got the fuselage fabric for it! (blue tarp....don't laugh, we had a J3 come in that was entirely covered with blue tarp!! Tapes and all!! Finished with Buty dope!) Seriously, that looks like a pretty inexpensive project to me.... as if I needed another project!
