thats the truth! They can be tricky, and hopefully nobody over torqued them too much in the past.

Well after looking every thing over we found that we had a rear spar corroded to bad to use so went looking for a replacement wing found a pair in a small town in Louisiana so that was the start to a 1400 mi road trip after picking up the wings we went to visit a friend in Conroe Tx now home with parts to fix the wings on the Stinson.

well here is a update on my Stinson project we have striped ALL the painted aluminum parts, got the wings fixed and they are ready to cover, did a test run on the engine all is ok with it,then we cleaned and sanded the tubing on the fuselage and painted it,we also have rebuilt the shock struts, master cylinders and calipers.removed and lubed all the pully's and installed all new control cables. Then we have built all new interior and installed what is needed to be there before we cover the fuselage.we have spent a lot of time on the project but what is done is not bad for 6 months.
