  • abi 3200 tailwheel hardware etc.

I made the plunge and bought a new alaskan bushwheel 3200 tailwheel. I was wondering what dash number an6 bolt is required to attach it. Also, anybody out there with one what kind of spring set up do you use....compression springs or tension springs....any advice?
    Thanks,
    Jerry

Jerry i installed one about a year ago works grate I drilled the hole in the spring to match the hole in the head of the tail wheel that way you don't need a bushing and see photos for my spring setup works grate.

Here are the photos. The eye bolts keep the springs from wearing the steering arm and rudder arm holes the springs are from AK Bush also the quick links AK Bush.Mounting them like i did keeps the springs in a straight line. this has worked with out any trouble for over a year.

Thanks for the pictures. That looks like a good setup. Any idea off hand the size of the eye bolts?

Jerry the eye bolts were bought at AK bush and are AN42b5 and the springs are a part #3239 also from akb.
