  • Antique Airplane Assoc. Fly In

The Antique Airplane Association Fly In concluded on Monday in Blakesburg Iowa . There were 412 aircraft in attendance, with about a dozen Taylorcrafts in attendance from around the Midwest, including 2 L'2s that I saw and 2 Clipwings . Most were restored and I have pictures but will try to post them later. Great event along with a Gone West tribute to Paul Poberezny and other AAA members on Sunday. I encourage any to attend this Fly In as it is one of the unique ones in th US.

I kept giving EAA Vintage a hard time on Facebook as the only pictures they were posting were of Cubs. We finally got one photo of Taylorcrafts and one of Luscombes. And, of course, a bunch of Cubs.
    Cheers,
    Marty
