B-29 FIFI Ride

I flew on FIFI last week. They really have that plane in great shape.

It's really great to see the 80-90 year olds perk up when they see it in person.

I saw her fly by my house a couple of weeks ago. I could hear it through the trees I couldn't see it or tell what it was so I ran out to the front yard, it was about 1500' agl and it sure looked nice, reminded me of the time I heard the saw a strange plane in upstate ny back in the 70's and I told my self "man, that's a tri motor", and sure enough the next day in the paper a ford tri motor stopped in at the airport.

We've had the B-17 Sentimental Journey flying around the last few days here giving rides. Or, I should say selling rides. It sounds great, I run out in the yard every time it goes by. Now, to just imagine 1,000 of those droning over.
