  • NC27599 A-75 and climb prop

I started looking at the mountain of paperwork that I got with NC27599 last night during the t-storms rolling thru. I read some interesting things, including, 27599 being one of only (2) BC-12D’s approved with an actual A-75 installation. I also read a note from a previous owner that the installation of the McCauley 1A90 69-40 climb prop (one time 337) “Will easily out-climb any BC-12D and a couple F-19’s “.

Do you mean this is a factory installation of an A75? I know of at least a half dozen Taylorcrafts I have provided engineering data approval for A75.
