Data Plate

I am currently doing the annual on my plane. I was looking at the data plate that is located on the "kick plate" under the door on the left side of the cockpit. I noticed that the serial number for the engine isn't correct. It appears to be the serial number for the original A-65-8.

Do I need to get a new data plate with the serial number for the C-85?
