  • MMO now in gallons

I noticed the other day that Wall Mart has MMO in gallons. Now at 4 OZ for every 10 gallons of gas that would last about forever.

    Re: MMO now in gallons

I gotta wonder what these WalMart shoppers are doing with all that MMO that they need to buy it a gallon at a time.
WalMart wouldn't stock it in the gallon size unless they were selling lots of it. Is there some new use for MMO?

Couple years ago, I used some to free up a stuck tractor engine....but it only took a pint to do the job.

What are folks doing with all that MMO?

I have been told that old pilots with arthridus rub it in all the affected areas for lubrication. Marv

I resemble the remark about old pilots and arthridus. Might make me smell nice anyway.

It's used in place of Bloody Mary Mix, and has the added feature of keeping the user REAL regular.

I have a second job of maintaining a couple of Wacos and a New Standard, and I see several boxes of gallon containers in the hangars, gary

When mixed right it sure will fog all the bugs out of the backyard and the neighborhood if so inclined

45 years ago we bought it in 5 and 55 gal drums. Top oil for large natural gas engines...

I've bought it at some Walmarts for years in gallon cans. I refilled smaller cans with just the right amount to dump into the 20 gallon tank on each wing of my Stinson when I was running the Franklin. helped keep valves from sticking. Also used it in the oil.

Our local farm and home type store just started carrying gallons. At first they wouldn't do it because folks weren't buying enough. I tried to explain it is hard to buy it if they aren't carrying it.
                        Cheers,
