Springtime in Alaska

Remember the old Johnny Horton song "North to Alaska"? Well the line about it being 40-below just isn't true ... at least not this year.

Yesterday was great spring ski flying weather.

Hi Rod, I spent an over an hour tracking up as much untracked powder as I could yesterday afternoon as well. A beautiful early spring day for sure.

Perhaps we can join forces for ski flying before the season is over? Jason will do the annual this Friday or Saturday. I have the following Sunday off from work. Rarely do Ihave a Sunday off in retail. I have missed many functions having to work weekends.

Reply to this post or I will give you a call this weekend. Perhaps some others would be interested in an outing also?

Hi Jim ... Yeah, give me a call. Get Jason to get the annual done on Friday so you can play the rest of the weekend. I hope the weather holds and we get another weekend like the last one. Between Saturday and Sunday, I put over 6 hours on the bird!
