Fitting Vortex Generators

Hi All,

I am in the process of attempting to gain approval in the UK to fit Vortex Generators to my F22A. I have a kit purchased from a Forum Member which is marked for Experimental use in the USA and the Light Aircraft Association who administer the UK Permit System ( similar to Experimental class aircraft in the USA ) are asking if there is a STC in force at all in the USA to fit them on ANY model of Taylorcraft?

I am not sure of the system in the USA so can anybody assist in anyway or perhaps know someone who has fitted them on a Taylorcraft?

If there is a STC in force I would like to obtain a copy of it.

Hey Bob. I put the Air Wave vortex generators on my BC12D and they work great. I used the pattern used by the guy with the taylorcraft on the customer feedback section of their website. It takes over 300 V.G"s but works great.

Nice to know, but I am still awaiting Authority from the powers that be in the UK to fit them but I remain hopeful!
