I stopped in at Bardstown,Ky(BRY) yeasterday to pick up a prop and look at a luscombe project and found this pretty little red taylorcraft setting tied down on the ramp. I ran the N# and it says the registration is in question with a Texas address. Just by chance this also happens to be the same week they are having the annual Navion convention that is being hosted in Bardstown,Ky. There must have been 100 Navions crammed up on the ramp with this one pretty little red tcraft setting in the middle of them, lol. Here's a few pics.

Re: Do Anyone Know This Taylorcraft???
Hey Kevin,
Hope things are going well for you. All red Taylorcrafts are pretty, hahaha. Interesting way to address the elevator horn bolt clearance issue. Don't know the plane, though.Cheers,

Re: Do Anyone Know This Taylorcraft???
Marty,
I never had an issue with it rubbing there but you have to use the right bolt, I also use a long bolt thru the middle of the the fairing with a bushing between the right & left sides.....however I do like the idea simply for pre-flight purposes. It is a nice little bird.Kevin Mays

Re: Do Anyone Know This Taylorcraft???
I can't believe there was only 40 there....the ramp was completely packed! And not to put down a great hell for stout navion but your t-craft was the only airplane I took pics of,lol. I did see the cadet but I was already taxing back out and didn't take time for a pic.Kevin Mays
