  • Who's going to Fort Parker - TEXAS in March.

Many have said they haven't heard about it. So here is the banner ad once more.

Plans are coming together. So far we have a core group of guys/families with around 10 Taylorcrafts with tentative YES. And at least 3 of those are L-2's. We've also heard from 3 out-of-staters planning to come. Wouldn't it be great to see a whole gaggle of Taylorcrafts gathered together for this one? And even better than that... think of all the great relationships we'll build between other like minded folks! If you've never been to a fly-in... you'll quickly learn...the planes are the common interest, but the people are what make this great.

Our food and facilities planners are in need of feedback. We are also considering whether or not to organize a couple of forum topics. We all recognize it is tentative, depending on weather and other factors. But we want to hear from you anyways. Your feedback will help us prepare for the best accommodations possible. So.... please reply to this post if you're planning to attend.

For all the fly-in details... go to this link here.

Or email me at [email protected] if you have questions.

Hope to see you all there!

If fire season doesn't get in the way I will be there! Only a couple of hours from my home airport near Brookshire,TX.

I will be there, even if I have to drive. Our BC-12D is scheduled on a XC out of state, not sure if that will change.

I guess I could trailer in my project BC12D and make airplane noises in it.

        You're killing me, Terry.
This looks like a perfect overnight trip for me. Perfect distance from home.
But as you know, I'm in the middle of my recover / restore project.
If I really hustle, I hope to make the 2013 fly-in.
        But not this year.

I am planning on making the trip with my L2. I may also have a cub and a couple of Birddogs tag along if it is okay with the group.

                Terry,

I have it marked on calendar. Just have to see how some other issues work out.

Mike...good news... I think there is going to be a good turnout if the weather cooperates. I'm looking forward to meeting you and a lot of the forum guys. This should be some good opportunities for a lot of people to solidify these online acquaintances. Good stuff.

I plan to be there, but in the Chief... so that leaves me out of the Taylorcraft Owners, Taylorcraft Pilots, Taylorcraft Restorers... I'll be in the Taylorcraft Ethusiasts group! I'll park in the back!
