Not Taylorcraft related, but good news anyway. My son Amos has finally finished his 1946 C-140! He started on a bare aluminum “rough” project less than a year ago. I am amazed at the progress that he made in such a short time. His annual was finished this morning and he is hoping to have it test flown this afternoon. He will finish his Private ticket in it this fall and then fly it up to AK next spring. I think a celebration is in order this weekend!

Re: Restoration Finished!
It's been a lot of fun having Amos working inthe shop every night. His ship has taken precedence over my Taylorcraft. With it now out of the way, I can start working on repairing 20407. He heads back up to AK in a couple weeks......I'm gonna miss him( and the mess in the shop every night).MIKE CUSHWAY

Re: Restoration Finished!
Mike,
He has to finish his private ticket first. He was hoping to have this done by now but eneded up putting most of that $$ into the plane. He leaves for AK the first of December and will most likely have it ferried up there either late this fall or first thing next spring. We are having a hell of a time finding someone to test fly it! I am sport pilot and cant do it. He is really antsy having a legal plane and not able to train in it.MIKE CUSHWAY
