You can keep up with updates at www.Caringbridge.org when you get to the caringbridge page you type in amandafranklin ( no spaces)in the place it ask what website you want to visit. You will have to enter an email address and then create a password, but you will be sent any updates to the journal. You can sign the geastbook as well.
Here are a couple good places to donate, all donations go to them
http://www.moonlightfund.org or www.icasfoundation.org
Amanda has a long recovery road ahead of her and needs all the prayers and support they both can get.
Thanks

here is the most recent update from Kyle on www.caringbridge.org
It was great to see Amanda today. When I came in they had her facial bandages off so I got to see her face. She looks much better then I had originally thought. The doctors did a great job fixing her facial fractures and almost all of her facial features are in tacked. Her nose, lips and ears all look great. Once again they are planning on Monday for her facial graphing.
What made today so special for me is that I know for sure she knew I was there. I came in to see her and started telling her about the day and she raised her right hand (the side I was on). I held her hand and she tried to talk a little and then opened those beautiful blue eyes. I haven't seen her beautiful eyes in almost a month. She was acting like she was ready to get up and walk out of there with me. She was very animated with me so much the nurses wanted me out of there so she could rest. (rest in a hospital, ya right)
I love my girl and she is going to make it threw this. Her strength and will is amazing.....she is amazing!
