Summer scorchers are settling in here in central TX. 100 yesterday and forecast calls for 101 for this afternoon. Logged 30 minutes at Sunset Thurs nite. Very Hazy. Not a trace of breeze. Landings seem more challenging when it is hot like this. Sink rate is pretty high at or below 60 mph indicated. Not so much floating in ground effect. Logged another 1.5 hrs this morning. Much cooler this morning at 7:15 am... but by 9:00 am was really heating up again. Glad to have the A75 and 7443 prop. After 1.5 hours... held 5.4 gallons. Great fun.
