Hey, I will answer to most anything, just try not to call me late for supper!
Missing from the photo is my favorite Taylorcraft pilot / wife Judy. Pretty sure she was on a beer run at the time...
Just to clarify, Grandpa was chief mechanic at Taylorcraft before the war, and after. Dad was a kid and used to go in with his father and help out. Later, when Charlie and Dorothy Ferris had Taylorcraft here in Alliance, my Dad did a little drafting work for Dorothy. At that time, I took the promotional photos for the F-19. Air to air shot of the yellow one, also took pictures of an orange one that was going to Canada. Forrest was flying the photo ship and Ken Lughinbul was test pilot flying the subject plane.

Got in late Thurs and missed everything Taylorcraft, but did talk to Bill in his display a couple of times. Every year I say next year I am going to go earlier and stay later, but it seems to be going the wrong way. With this economy I am out beating the bushes just to keep the wolf away from the door. <sigh> Maybe next year. I left Sat. before the night air show but have been told it was awesome. Larry
