I have 2 of them - not as nice as that though. They are in rough shape to say the least and will probably never see the air again!~

        Chris:

This one is the model 15, not the bigger and more powerfull model 20 of which you have two.

There's a photo of your model 15 here:

There are a few nice ones around, including these two:

Looking for a model 15 was what brought me to Agawam initially. Wish I had one!!!!!

        Cheers,

Thanks, Jon. I had noticed that earlier. The 15 still waiting for me to rescue it from the dungeon! Hopefully I can get it before the river rises again!

The Model 20, as I recall, was powered by an O-470 - which I am told gave marginal performance to the big bird!

Both the 15 and the 20 have the most heavy-duty airframe I think I have ever scene. Reminds me of my grade school jungle gym!

              Model 15-20

              Chris,
I have to agree with David. What would you take for one or both. These rare birds should be saved and if you seen Crispy Critter when I started it and then seen it now you would see that nothing is unrestorable.

                Kevin,

I agree - they are VERY rare and should not be wasted - I would never dream of sending them to the scrap heap.

BC12's, building a house and garage, work comittments, etc. have put the 4 seaters on the back burner. I have a couple gentleman waiting for me to get everything together. I'll make a few calls this morning to see if they are still interested.

As soon as I get anything together, I will let everyone here know.

                  Chris's Model 15-20

                  Chris,
I have restored a few airplanes for myself and would like to make a living someday doing classic restorations. My wife and I have been talking a lot about it and she says I should go for it(a wife like her is hard to find these days).
Anyway, have you ever thought about letting someone restore them for you?I love the chance to do it for you and that goes for anyone that has an old bird to restore but don't have the time, skill,or whatever the reason.
