          Liberty KY

Great looking airstrip. Where is West Liberty Ky. The Ohio winter looks like it is going to last forever.

            West Liberty,Ky

West Liberty is located in east Ky about 60kt miles east of Lexington,Ky.
We are pretty laid back here, not much traffic. It is pretty messy right now because we're trying to build a new hanger.
Come on down and see us,we have a couple of projects going all the time.Sometimes I have my Beech 18 based here, and a few other toys.
I live on the airport,20 feet from the hangers, everyone is welcome, come on down and we'll talk airplanes, work on Crispy Critter a little or work on my fathers C-170 project, throw some food on the BBQ,or just set around inside(where it's warm this time of year)and tell tall tails.

Let's see... You gave up the Harley ? I think you need to get the blades rotating rapidly or something to get in the air. The Wright boys would be impressed ! I was wondering if you knew the Univ. of Utah folks built a version of the 1903 Wright Flyer, and powered their Flyer with a Harley Davidson engine ? Oh, anyone out there have some choppers ? I need a chopper for a few hours in June for a documentary project about the "Maxwell" auto which was built in New Castle, IN. The Maxwell celebrates 100 years this year with a huge celebration in New Castle, IN... Keep your rotars clear... G. Kent Brown...

                            AK Temps

The temperature is pretty mild, but varies depending on where you are...TV reported -28 F. at Eagle last night...+42 in the southern portion of the state...high 30's in Southcentral where we are. Was snowing a few minutes ago here North of Kenai. About 2 feet of compacted snow on the ground here. I would like about 6 inches of good snow and a week of 25 Degree F. Dick
