Need Advice for Trip to Alaska

There is only one thing on my wife's bucket list; salmon fishing in Alaska. I'm thinking this would make a nice Christmas present. Would those of you in the know, please PM me with some advice in this regard. Information I could use include the best time of year for King Salmon, where would be the best place(s) to go, and how long should I plan on staying up there. If you know of a reputable guide/service, pleas advise that also. Thanks.

There is an article in the current issue of EAAs Sport Aviation magazine about a guy with his wife flying to Alaska and describing the trip ,, they are flying some kind of low wing sounds like a 4 place aircraft, futher stories are to come.
