Re: 2016 West Coast Taylorcraft Rendezvous
The 2016 West Coast Taylorcraft Rendezvous was a blast this year. Total of 9 Taylorcrafts with a few others assorted planes with guys that are working on T's about 15 total. Dinner in Reedley on Fridaynight then a flyout to Woodlake 042 Saturday morning for a flour sack bomb run then a "least of the worst" spot landing contest. Mostly we were worst .lol Back to Reedley were the airport was having an open house Saturday. We did a flyby then on the ground to show off our Taylorcrafts. Lots of looking and talking. Barbecue Saturday night after the crowd went home. Videos from 1997 Columbia Rendezvous and a show from host Ken Andrews of his trip to Osh last year. (Three weeks in a Taylorcraft) with his two Grandkids. Guys were up early Sunday for a quick pancake breakfast then headed home. Jim Meeker and George Wacker were grounded in Apple Valley an extra night because of weather but everyone is home safe now. Last picture is host Ken in a friends dirt strip. Love this pic.
