    Wonderful pictures...those were simpler days, and from the Old Timers I've spent time with, reportedly the best for enjoying Alaska.

    Yesterday I was fueling N36007 and a fellow pilot stopped by to visit. He asked what kind of floatplane it was and I replied a Taylorcraft. He responded that he saw the Taylorcraft logo on the tail, but asked what's a Taylorcraft?

    He then powered up his device and searched the Net for that name and info. We had a good time talking airplanes.
