  • EAA Chapter 1189

Partly because yours truly now owns a Taylorcraft, and because I'm also the webmaster for EAA Chapter 1189 down in Mississippi, You can see a T-craft picture or two on the front page of the site, including an L-2 and BC12D restoration in progress. Check us out at http://eaa1189.org/

Wow, there are a lot of pictures on there.

Check out my chapter's webpage at http://www.eaa1111.org/. If you click on "Members", and then "Member Profiles" there is a blurb on each one of us. Me and my Taylorcraft are the first one. They have me listed as Mark. Check it out. There is a lot of good info in the tech help section too.

Congratulations on your Chapter website being selected for Best Chapter Website at Oshkosh! It's a good looking site.

Your T'craft looks a lot like mine; same basic paint scheme. Hmmm; maybe it is mine. No, you wouldn't have had time to fly it all the way to Washington!
Haven't taken time yet to check the tech info on your site, but will soon.

          Gerald,

I am not sure if you are the same Gerald or not, but I think it was you that helped me change the bungees on my plane several years ago. Did you use to live in the Pacific Northwest? We did yours and mine at the same time.

            Richard,
No, it wasn't me. Northwest Mississippi is about as far as I get these days. I did travel to Oregon once to get checked out in Van's RV-6A, prior to flying the one I built. That was 14 years ago.

The RV was nice, but I'm enjoying a different kind of flying now in the T-craft.

              Hey Gerald,
I'm over in west TN. I fly down into MS a lot around Hernando and Holly Springs.

                Hello Patrick,
I like your color scheme. If you ever get down a little further toward my way give me a call.
