I can't say enough thanks to Terry, Jed, Darius, and everyone who pitched in to help out for this great event. It was nice to finally meet Jed in person and tell him what a great place he has. We had a great time, and those of us in our Non-Taylorcraft flying machines were happy we could share in all the Taylorcraft fun! There was even talk of combining the Taylorcraft and Cessna 140 fly-ins in the future. Why not? We all fly beautiful classic machines with the little wheel on the right end of the plane!!

Anyway, my contribution to the event was photography. I got some cool photos of the flour bombs being dropped.

Hope you enjoy. Instead of waiting until next year, come out and join us for our fly-in in June. Same great place.

Jack... I just got home and the guys were already texting me to let me know about your postings. Thanks for your wonderful photos. We appreciate your very nice contribution to the fly-in. I got some photos with my phone but none as nice as these. We are happy to share this time with you guys with 120/140s. I wish you could have stayed the night last nite. The balloon group invited us over to their campsite and they projected a movie on a big screen fastened to the side of their RV. The film was the classic... Dr. Strangelove. A great cap-off to a wonderful day. Good people... good times.

Thanks for the kind words. I never get a chance to help on anything else because I'm afraid I'll miss a photo. Helping to document the event is the least I can do. I can't wait to see Doug's photos too.

I should have stayed. I was just exhausted from running up and down the runway so much. I wasn't worth much today!

I really like your shot of the balloon over the fire. Your photos remind me I've got to remember to get pics of people and other events besides the planes... Next time!

As always, tell the guys if they want one of my photos to print, don't just copy it from the Internet, I have to reduce the size to 1/4 of the original to post it. Have them email me and I will send them a full size copy for free. This is a hobby for me, not a job. When someone likes one of my photos, especially when they posed for it, it puts a big smile on my face.

Thanks again to you, all of the volunteers, and the pilots. I wouldn't have changed a thing!

Thank you Jack for the great photos. I brought my camera w/o battery and subsequently did not take a single photo...

I was flying Doc Heckers' Red and Black N43306. He was gracious enough to lend it to me to attend the fly-in and I loved every minute.

It is a lot of fun to get close to the planes while flying and your picture taking skills far exceed anything I would have been able to do. Thanks again for sharing.

I forgot my battery charger and was worried, but it held out! That's always scary.

I like the second photo down at the top of the page. The plane looks right at home in front of the old building.
