  • BC12-D. Air Filter Fairing &

Looking for the air filter fairing, mine is too far out to be repaired again or even used as a sample. Also need the air scoop between the "Braket air filter" and the carb intake. Any assistance is appreciated.
    Thanks

Re: BC12-D. Air Filter Fairing &

    Ralph,

Go to this link and contact David about this part. I believe he makes this part along with the others listed. There is another guy in the St. Louis area that also makes one, I would have to search for his info. Let me know. David is a great guy to deal with. Good luck!

Regarding the other part are you talking about the intake/heat box? Like this, (though not an FAA approved part):http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalo...rintakeass.php

The one that looks approved may be part number 05-01387 on this link: http://www.aircraftspruce.com/pdf/20...l/Cat12348.pdf

      Thanks Marty.
We tried the 0-200 as well as one from a A-65/Aeronca. Did not fit correctly. Will call A.S. for dimensions. The one from the A-65 was short = did not make it to the cauling. The 0-200 did not fit at all. the one I had would stick out the cauling for about 2 to 2.5 inches; not flush at all.

I will contact Dave for the fairing. Thanks for the lead.My old one was made of tin metal, cut with snips with the edges bent in.

      Regards,
