    there are some wood l2 ribs also on ebay and other things type taylorcraft in search on motors air craft parts and gear about 12 or 14 listings

    The only Taylorcrafts I am aware of that used wood ribs were the DC series... correct or did some prewar BC series have them ? If so how about in 1941 ? BC12?

      The long ones would make a neat bookshelf. Several years ago a guy built wing ribs to some vintage airplane, can't remember which one right now. for the express purpose of making bookshelves out of them. You hang it from the wall leading edge up and use the 'spars' as bookshelves. It is a cool wall hangar for collectibles and stuff.

          The wooden wings are only on the "D" models built as the L-2A, L-2B & L-2 M plus the TG-6 gliders of course.

            That is what I thought. I had a restoration shop in Georgia try to insist otherwise.... I had never heard of them in a B model anything ....
