  • Clipped Taylorcraft Wings- Open Shop Time

Tribe- this has been coming for a while. . . . . I am building custom clipped Taylorcraft and Cub wings and have some open shop time. If you are interested or are not familiar with my wings contact me via email. These are not Swick or Cole wings. These are newly designed, all wood, state of the art wings that incorporate the newer style ailerons as found on aircraft like the MX-2, Extra 300, and Pitts Model 12. My wings weigh in at less than 50 pounds per side ready to cover. For comparison, stock Taylorcraft wings are 70 pounds or more.

I can comfortably handle 2 sets of wings per year, I have one more open slot for 2011 and then I am booked until 2012.

I'm also working on my own design stick assembly conversion kit, inverted fuel tank, motor mounts for Continental and Lycoming engines, and new style extended landing gear. These will be available within the year as a conversion kit for Taylorcraft pre and post war fuselages. (Experimental Only)

I figured I would offer this here first. Look on some of the clipped wing Tcraft threads on this forum for lots of build photos.

Flying is easy- to go up you pull back, to go down you pull back a little farther.
