Are those the plastic vg's? Cant really tell from pic.

Nope, they are aluminum, though I couldn't see why plastic
would not do and save a little weight in the mean time.

Do you think plastic heavy enough to take the guff of flying, washing, and clumsy plane pushers would be lighter then the alum.? I don't know just asking. Larry

As these things really are only stuck to the paint, I'd have to guess yes, plastic
would hold up good enough. That is my thoughts however others may differ. I think I would rather one to fall off or break free if it were pushed on too hard.
