The real deal, rare as hen's teeth these days.
I bought this in April 2008 from Jim Kjeldgaard in Fremont, NE, and sent it off to Keystone Instruments in Lock Haven, PA in May 2008 for refurbishing and repainting, along with a second A7 switch I'd acquired. The second A7 switch replaced an A9 in my plane, and this perfectly good A7 switch has sat in a box in my hangar ever since.
Refurbished and ready for installation, except for a tiny spot of flat black paint touchup on the face, next to the "7", where the spring in the handle apparently scraped the black paint during reassembly in Lock Haven.
I bought it for $285(!), then paid Keystone Instruments another $150(!) to refurbish it. They have a stencil for the white lettering, so that looks perfect.
$350, shipping and insurance included, to a good home in a Taylorcraft instrument panel. Don't let this switch end up in a Cub!
