Not really Taylorcraft news, but my son Amos soloed a 150 yesterday out of Anchorage/Merrill. He practiced several touch and go's off 7 at Merrill before he was turned loose. As soon as he got in the air the tower threw a him a loop and asked that he land 25. He confirmed pattern for 25, came around and landed just fine. The tower congratulated him on a job well done. A moment he will remember forever! Wish I could have been there.

Re: Alaska solo/proud papa!
That's great news Mike. Congrats to both Amos and you.
Now, lets try really hard to get together this spring to go fly 22606! Yesterday was very nice, but I only got as far north as Burlington for a fuel stop before I needed to head for home.Mike
